Wear It! Wearable Art I & II

This Spring design, sew, wearable art garments with Instructor, Tabitha Fielteau     
Patterns, prints and paintings do not only to hang on the wall, but also can adorn, drape and be worn on the body.  

Learn new sewing skills, create a mood board for inspiration and create a wearable artwork.
No sewing experience required. Learn the basic skills of sewing and the sewing machine with a focus on quilting techniques and fundamentals.  


“Wear It: Wearable Art” is a partnership between the Lyndon House Arts Center and Community, the downtown Athens company for local and sustainable fashion. It is made possible through a generous grant from Athfest Educates. Students will have the opportunity to exhibit their work in the window display of Community, 260 North Jackson during Athfest Arts & Music Festival, June 18 - July 1, 2018.

Wear It! Wearble Art Session I

Fee: $79, ACC Residents, $115, Non-ACC Residents

Location: Lyndon House Arts Center, 706-613-3623
Registration: Registration begins Saturday, February 10 at 9:00 a.m. for ACC residents. Non-residents may register starting Monday, February 12 at noon. Register for this program.
