Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Accounting Division are:

  • Ensuring adequate funds are available for the county’s disbursements, including payroll and accounts payable
  • Maintaining the county’s general ledger
  • Maintaining the county’s investment programs
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.  Please see the Public Documents page for a complete listing of published reports.
